Locate Ian's Excel Add-in and uninstall it.
Open Excel once without the add‑in
Confirm that Ian's Excel Add-in ribbon is no longer visible.
Close Excel again.
Reinstall the Add‑in
Run the installer.
When Excel opens and prompts about macros, choose “Enable Macros”.
If prompted about Protected View, select Enable Editing.

Open Excel, click the WinQS ASCII Import button, and confirm it responds.

Remove the Add‑in
Open Excel.
Go to: File > Options > Add‑ins.
At the bottom, select Excel Add‑ins and click Go.
