Hi there community members,

Ian's Excel Addin has not seen any major development in a while now and I feel it needs something to give it a boost again.

Is there something you do on a daily basis that could be made easier by automating the process, e.g. importing a WinQS ASCII file and setting it up for valuations or tender comparisons? I am therefore asking you, members of the Skinners Online community, for ideas and suggestions on what to include in the next revision.

Please post your replies in this thread.

Thank you,
Ian

Dear Mr Programmer Dude,

Yes, I would love it if the setup process for Valuations and Final Account Remeasures could be automated as it is currently a pain in the :pinch: and takes forever.

The valuation needs additional columns for :

Measurements of dims (5 columns like with OUR cost plan)
Current Measured Quantity
Current Rand Value of Measured Quantity
Current Contractor's Claimed Quantity
Current Rand Value of Contractor's Claimed Quantity
Current Certified Quantity
Current Rand Value of Certified Quantity
Variance between Claimed and Certified

If you want, I can send you one that has been setup the LONG way?
