I am able to run the ad-in now but received an error.

Run-time error ‘13’ type mismatch

The continue and debug options is hidden.

I have tried two different projects and both does the same.

Hi Fanie,

Based on your screenshot there are two issues at play here:
  1. Excel is having a problem importing some content from the text file. Where #NAME? appears, Excel is trying to import the text as a formula rather than as pure text.
  2. The addin's error trapping is not detecting where this issue is occurring.
The solution to 1 is to change the way these items are represented in WinQS, in order to prevent Excel from trying to import them as formulae. In order to see how best to address this issue, I will need to know what this item actually is in WinQS.

The solution to 2 will form part of my next upgrade to the code of Ian's Excel Addin.
